The season has changed and we are trading our swimsuits, flip flops and tanning lotion for Winter gear. The docks are transformed into skeletons, and become lonely in contrast to the Summer months when they are adorned with ropes, chairs and laughter; longing for the boats that cling to their sides.
The boating season is over, but the water never leaves our hearts.
While it may have changed from glistening sunlit days to gray solid ice, in our dreams it is still the lapping of the waves that we want to remember.
Some are so passionate about the water, that they fill their home with the objects that remind them of the time in Spring when the boat is set free upon the water once again.
We sit down to write a note or wish someone a birthday cheer, so we need a card.
